Fall Mums Sale to Benefit Hopeworks

Large field grown hardy mums in 8-inch pots & 4 beautiful colors; white, yellow, burgundy, and pink at only $7.00 per plant.  Advanced orders can be placed after Masses August 30/31, and can be picked up the weekend of September 6/7.  Please support this interfaith nonprofit counseling service for the youth and their families in West Hartford.  Volunteers are needed to help with the mum sale; taking orders after Masses August 30/31, and distributing them September 6/7.  Please contact Marie Callahan at 523-4443 to place your order, or to volunteer.

                   West  Hartford  Parish  Restructuring
Preparation for the ongoing work of West Hartford Restructuring continues.  A panel presentation by the Catholic Community of East Hartford North, headed by Rev. John P. Rohen, the pastor of their three clustered parishes, will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at St Thomas the Apostle Church on Farmington Avenue in West Hartford.  Come and listen to the story of their experience. A Q & A session will follow the presentation.

Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Couples observing their twenty-fifth, fiftieth, and other special wedding anniversaries are invited to attend the Anniversary Mass on Sunday, October 26, 2008.
Archbishop Mansell will celebrate the Liturgy at 2:00 pm at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford.
Family, friends, and all married couples are welcome to attend.
